1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file stored in your browser when you visit a website. Cookies are used to remember preferences, maintain sessions and measure how a site is used. This notice covers our website only; our games use no cookies, and each game's data behaviour is set out on its own privacy page.
2. Types of cookies we use
| Type | Purpose | Duration | Consent |
|---|---|---|---|
| Essential | Language preference, remembering your cookie choice, security | Session – 12 months | Not required |
| Preference | Storing your chosen display and language settings | 12 months | Not required |
| Analytics | Aggregated measurement of which pages are visited | Up to 24 months | Consent |
| Marketing | Measuring campaign performance, personalised advertising | Up to 12 months | Consent |
3. Identifiers used on our website
Essential
oyist_locale— remembers the language you chose (12 months).oyist_cookie_consent— stores your cookie preference in your browser’s local storage (no expiry; you can clear it at any time).
Analytics — only with your consent
We use Google Analytics 4 (via Firebase) to measure visits. It loads only if you select “Accept all” in the cookie notice; otherwise the software is never downloaded to your browser and the cookies below are never created.
_ga— distinguishes visitors from one another (24 months)._ga_<MEASUREMENT_ID>— stores session state (24 months).
If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, analytics will not load even if you have given consent.
You can withdraw your consent at any time using the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of any page. When consent is withdrawn, measurement stops and cookies starting with _ga are deleted.
4. Managing your preferences
Website
- Make your choice in the cookie notice shown on your first visit.
- You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, parts of the site may not work correctly.
- To reset your choice, clear the site data in your browser; the notice will be shown again.
Our games
Our games use no cookies. They do not read your advertising identifier (IDFA/GAID) and do no tracking, so there is no permission to turn off on your device. Each game’s data behaviour is set out separately on the legal pages.
5. Third-party cookies
The only third-party measurement tool on our website is Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC). The data collected may be processed on Google’s servers in the European Union and the United States; those transfers rely on standard contractual clauses.
Our web fonts are served from our own servers rather than a third-party network, so your IP address is not disclosed to another domain when you view a page.
You can request the current list of providers at info@oyist.com.
6. Changes
We update this policy as the technologies we use change. The current version is always published on this page. For more detail, see our Privacy Policy and KVKK Disclosure Notice.
