This page gathers, in one place, the commitments we make for our apps directed to children. Each app's measured data behaviour lives on its own page: Aselya, Wordistan.
1. Scope
The following apps are designed for children and are declared as such to the stores:
They are built with COPPA (US), GDPR-K (EU) and KVKK (Türkiye) in mind, as well as the Apple Kids Category and Google Play Families policies.
2. No accounts, no personal data asked
Our apps create no account and ask for no sign-in. A child is never asked for a name, email address, phone number, date of birth, address, location, photo, voice recording or contact list. Game progress is stored on the device alone and is never transmitted; deleting the app removes all of it.
We carry out no processing that would require verifiable parental consent, because we collect no such data from children in the first place.
3. No social features
The apps contain no chat, no messaging, no user-generated content, no usernames, no leaderboards and no interaction with other players. There is no surface through which a child could be contacted by a stranger.
4. No external links
There are no links out of the game to websites, social media or other apps. Links an adult may need (support, privacy) sit behind the parental gate.
5. Advertising
In those of our apps that show advertising, ads are subject to these rules:
- Not personalised. There is no behavioural profiling; ad requests are tagged for “child-directed treatment” and “under the age of consent”.
- Content rating capped at G (general audiences); no adult content, gambling, alcohol or violent creatives.
- Placement is restricted. No interstitial at app launch or at the start of a level — an explicit requirement of the Google Play Families policy. The exact moment an advert appears is stated on that game's privacy page.
- Removable. A one-off purchase permanently turns advertising off.
- Ads are served by Google's AdMob, a certified ad network for child-directed apps.
6. Purchases and the parental gate
Before any screen that can spend money, a parental gate — a task aimed at adults — is shown, so a child cannot buy on their own. Payment is handled entirely by the store and payment details are never entered into the app. Details: Purchase and Refund Terms.
7. Suggestions for parents
- Turn on purchase authentication at device level: iOS Screen Time → Content & Privacy Restrictions; Android Google Play → Settings → Authentication.
- Turn off ad tracking: iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking; Android Settings → Privacy → Ads.
- Agree screen time together; our games are designed to be easy to put down, with no timers and no penalty for stopping.
8. Questions and requests
You can write to us directly about anything concerning your child's privacy: info@oyist.com. As we collect nothing, there is no record to erase; on-device game data can always be removed by deleting the app.
If our policy changes in a way that affects children, this page and the relevant game's privacy page are updated together.
